Founded in early 2008, Soundlink Studio began as a recording studio, recording local and regional bands of all genres. After 2 years in the music industry we decided to expand, reaching out in as many creative outlets as we could. Now, we are versatile production studio providing professional quality video and audio productions for thousands of customers in every facet of business around the entire country. We are dedicated to building ourselves into one of the largest, most reputable studios around, while still maintaining price-points that even mom-and-pop shops can afford to take advantage of.
Meet The Crew
Jacob Doherty
Owner/CEO
Jacob is a strong leader that has worked in most parts of the media industry. From being a certified audio engineer through the Recording Workshop in Chilicothe, Ohio, a director of photography, producer for both audio and video productions, a script writer, and an entrepreneur, Jacob is a hands-on owner that takes pride in every project that comes through the door. His passion for audio & video started from his early days of touring the country with a Christian rock band, and continued to grow years later while developing a solid team that has produced thousands of video commercials. When choosing Soundlink Studio you can count on a business developed through hard work, morals, and true dedication to every project.
Kyle Schultz
VP/Creative Director
Kyle began at an early age behind both the camera and the guitar, and has since then fell in love with the art of cinematography, video editing, music production, and songwriting. Kyle studied Media Management at Ohio University and then continued his education at the University of Cincinnati, where he studied Electronic Media at the College Conservatory of Music. Throughout his college career, Kyle produced several impressive short films, music videos, and original songs that earned him several honors in his classes. It was also during this time that he linked up with close friend Jacob Doherty to help bring Soundlink Studio to the forefront.
After graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2013, Kyle has since then been putting his masterful video/audio skills to the test by producing a wide variety of professional-quality songs, full-length albums, music videos, and promotional videos, in which he has all obtained a great passion and reputation for. In fact, he is commonly known as “the prodigy” around the office for his impressive talents and perfectionist attitude that is shown through all of his work.
Aside from video/audio production, Kyle has also continued his passion for writing/performing music by being hired as a freelance jingle writer and actor for several national TV promotions with Speedway, Inc., as well as winning a handful of jingle-writing contests. He also has several years of experience as a club DJ.
Through several years of experience through all facets of the media industry, Kyle has gained a full understanding of individual customer expectations, and will work with you diligently to capture your video/audio project in its best light.
Tommy Morris
Senior Editor
Tommy discovered his love for video/audio editing in early high school. To date, Tommy has edited over 1700 video presentations for corporate clients around the nation. He has also helped film various on-site commercials and music videos, conducted many video interviews, and even acted in a few commercials. In his spare time, Tommy has also grown a passion for photography, where he has photographed (and filmed) various weddings, pregnancies, and family events. Also known around the office as the "master technician", Tommy has the skills and know-how to fix any technical issue that may arise during an edit or film shoot, and has become a vital piece to making sure each and every project is produced flawlessly.
Diana Rebholz
Video Production Sales Coordinator
Diana has 35 years of professional experience in the advertising industry. Sales Management, Script writing, Video Sales and Training. She loves the video production world at Soundlink Studio and enjoys working with clients all over the US to help make their video productions happen professionally and with the highest of customer service relations and experience available.
Dawn Moore
Sales Executive
Dawn is a Soundlink Studio sales executive. She is a proud mother of three young ladies who she absolutely adores. Dawn enjoys work with helping client's video dreams come true, and loves being able to help business owner's grow their companies with our video marketing we execute for them.
Drew Phipps
Video Producer/Editor
Drew's passion for all things audio/video was fostered by his high school rock band. After graduating from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati with a BFA in Electronic Media and a Certificate in Film and Media Studies in 2013, he immediately began working at Soundlink Studio as a video producer and editor. Drew filmed on-set videography and edited the "making of" documentary for the feature film, Josephine Doe. He has also filmed and edited a Kickstarter video for "The Happy Couple Duo," helping to achieve their fundraising goal. In 2017, he filmed and edited a short video celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Over The Rhine Ale for the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company. In his spare time, he's the entrepreneur behind The Cincy Fifty Two, a deck of playing cards based on the 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati. Drew is also a casual bowler, amateur guitarist, frequent concert goer, Netflix enthusiast, and is always looking forward to his next project.
